Earth Born by Spirits Burning & Bridget Wishart. Former Hawkwind and Hippy Slags singer Bridget Wishart returns in partnership with Don Falcone's Spirits Burning collective. Includes contributions from Alan Davey, Richard Chadwick, Steve Swindells, Jerry Richards, Simon House, Daevid Allen, Steve Bemand and many others.
The Truth About Us by Pre-Med. After their stunning debut album in 2007, Medication Time, Danny Faulkner and Alan Davey, with new guitarist Eamon O'Neill really up the ante on their second release. Absolutely blinding.
The New World's Fair - Michael Moorcock & Deep Fix. New remaster from Esoteric Records. I know this has been around on CD a couple of times before, but Douglas Smith has turned up trumps on this new edition with the original demo of Kings of Speed - a must for all Hawkwind historians.
Otherworld - Space Ritual. Nik Turner's ensemble of former Hawkwind members just gets better and better. A little more jazz-rock fusion than the band are in their current live incarnation but really fresh and contemporary stuff.
